I attend school Even during my menstrual period days

I am Nambalirwa Hadijah, a pupil at Naminya Church of Uganda primary school. I am so thankful to Bujagali Energy Limited School Menstrual Hygiene program that has improved my school attendance and learning outcomes during menstrual days. Before BEL’s intervention, I hardly received guidance on management of my menstrual period worsened with limited access to sanitary pads due to poverty that resulted into shame and school absenteeism during my menstrual days. I cherish BEL for creating my awareness about the menstrual period and giving me a sanitary pad to enhance management of my menstrual days. Today, I feel strong and prepared for school. I will keep in school and continue to peruse my dream of becoming a doctor
