Bujagali Energy Limited seeks to improve house-hold income through increasing farmer group access to improved breeds of pigs and provision of appropriate extension services in production and management of pigs.
I am Mirembe Margret, a resident of Budhagali Village. I am so grateful for Bujagali Energy Limited for supporting me realise my dream enterprise in piggery production as a faster and sustainable solution for improving my house-hold income. Before, BEL’s Community Concerted efforts, I was faced with a challenge of seed capital and poor production technologies yet had a strong drive to invest in piggery. By chance, I joined Bujagali Youth Development group from which BEL provides technical training in management of piggery followed by donation of five piglets.
